Georgia gun laws

I have searched the internet but can’t seem to find an accurate answer......I was wanting to find out if it is legal to own a REMINGTON 870 tac 14 in Georgia?.....From reading up on the the weapon it is supposed to be classified as a”firearm” and not a shotgun by the manufacture......how does one find the state of Georgia stance on the weapon?
