Can you use a .223 lower with the 5.45 upper or do you have to get a 5.45 lower also?

Yest the only difference in the 2 calibers id chamber pressure. The bullets are exactly the same. If your going to shoot 223, its ok to shhot it out of a 223/ 5.56 upper! if your going to shoot 5.56, it is NOT ok to shoot it out of a .223 only upper. The chamber pressure will blow the barrel or blow the chamber. It may n5.56 barrels are made to a MILSPEC standard and a 223 barrel is not.ot happen right away, but guarantee it will happen.

Man!! These 5.45x39 ammo are hard to come by!! I just want 30 or 60 rounds to test the gun with, but non of the local gun store carry them!!
I dont want to bulk order 1000+ rounds and find out I dont like this gun...... shipping is so high on ammo as well :-/
Anyone around here wanna split some ammo??
