USPS WTH

Had a warranty issue, and got free replacement hardware. Vendor shipped the item Jan 17. 10 days from last update. Stuck in USPS limbo.

Contacted the vendor to see if they could help.

I bought an item from Missouri. Came through Atlanta and went to Fla. Rode around a few days then back to Atl. Finally got to me after dude had sent me my $$$ back.

My wife inherited a Ruger Blackhawk 41 Mag, 3 screw, pre transfer bar a few years ago.

I had been toying with the idea of sending it to Ruger to have a transfer bar installed, as well as original grips which my FIL managed to shatter on his first trip out in Wyoming (thrown from his horse is what I was told).

Upon reading extremely numerous reports of stuff getting lost in shipping regardless of who the carrier is, I'm thinking I will just live with it as is, and just keep it on an empty chamber. I guess 5 shots of .41 is plenty

What a friggin joke mail and package delivery has become.

Hell, I've had a ton of mailed checks not show up until weeks, sometimes months, later with USPS.
