I have one. Makes weeding easier in the garden.Definitely shovel over a hoe or it may take a number of swings to dispatch, especially on a larger one.
On a side note, aren't hoes outdated/obsolete? And yes, I am referring to the garden variety.
Make sure they will cycle your semi-auto. They did not cycle my Glock conversion kit, but worked in Ruger SR22. Keep pulling the trigger until mag is empty. One shot does not kill the snake. I started with a 22LR shotshell, when 1st shot did not work, Remington 870 came out to play and it worked with one shot.I have .22lr shotshells for this. Never tried them on snakes, but I'll sure try if one is in my yard. I don't care what my hoa says either
I have and I used it sparingly, but most of my crops are heirloom and are not Round-up resistant. Plus I am on the bored well, so I am careful about what I spray my plants with.Weeding? Haven't you heard of glyphosate?
I live in a subdivision community in a county and w/in city limits where firing a shotgun or other firearm is a no go. What other options do I have to kill a copperhead on my property? Salt gun? Flamethrower?
