If Americans kept all of their profit had to write check at the end of the year to the state and the federal government, much of this ass baggery would cease.

And cut out the redistribution schemes. No EITC, especially not a $5,350 bonanza come tax time. If you pay $1,800 in Fed Inc Tax and receive a $5,350 "refund", you are part of the damned problem. End confiscatory corporate taxes too and institute a flat 10% tax on corp profits.
