Move intown where all the jobs are. I drive 4 miles to and from work which makes for a 15-20 min commute. The grocery store is 1 mile from my driveway. I have tonnes of good restaurants, pubs and bakeries around me, many of which are walking distance of my home. I sometimes go months without my tires ever touching roads starting with "I".

I worked from home for 2 years. That "commute" sure was tough

Atlanta is the only place ive ever been where you can leave within 5 minutes of the same time every morning but your arrival time can vary by a hour and a half.

Moved out of that ****hole in July, hallelujah! The 12 years I commuted to work from Smyrna to midtown just about destroyed me as a nice person, probably took some years off my life from the anxiety it brought too.
