Deli guy told me the other day that the rib roast at $6.79/lb is good through Christmas...

They have an 18lb one here, too much for me. I got 2 6 pounders though

Got one of the rib roasts and carved it into 4 16 oz steaks, vacuum sealed for the freezer. We ate one and it was surprisingly good quality for $6.79/lb. Will probably go get another one.

The smoked hams are really good. I got 2 over the weekend and we had 1 of them.

I grabbed a 10 pounder yesterday. They are losing money on each one. I guess they hope you will buy other things while there. I had them cut mine from a fresh pack the butcher had brought out for a women. I asked them to leave on all the fast and not pre-cut the bones. That bad boy is getting smoked on Christmas day.

I didn't even think about asking the butcher to do that!
