Firearm shipment middle GA

If I want to sell a firearm and ship it. Where do I to ship it in middle ga? How does the process work?

Just go to your local gun store. They must be shipped from FFL to FFL.

pistols need to go next day air from private selle expensive. Use FFL. ive

If it is a ga resident to ga resident inside the state you can ship directly to the individual, have done this several times. Only time an ffl need be involved is if you ship to an out of state resident and then you can ship it yourself to the individuals ffl of choice, done this several times.

Pistols can be shipped to residents of the same state inside the same state without an ffl, with that said you can not ship pistols usps , have to use another carrier and most require they be shipped to an ffl

Not true.

Unlicensed people can ship guns to each other within the same state with no need for FFL.

You can't ship hand guns via USPS unless you're a licensed FFL, so use UPS/FEDEX.

Long guns can be shipped with any service.

If shipping out of state, you still don't have to have an FFL yourself, but the receiving party must be an FFL.

You can mail a long gun through the Post Office. Check the United States Postal Service Domestic Mail Manual Section 432.3.
