I've actually had several packages arrive today from China that I had ordered like 10 months ago and had completely forgot about. Luckily it wasn't anything valuable or too terribly expensive.

A guy at work was having the same issue last week. I thought about it and life was easier when we ordered and didn't get a number to be able to track each step. We ordered and waited. We got it when we got it. Now I order and I check tracking several times a day like I do the odt just for updates.

With the USPS it's similar to being in the service... Hurry up and wait is the old expression.
